3. To be the bridesmaid as many as possible (What are you waiting for?)
- Yes, i' was the bridesmaid at my cousin wedding and unofficial bridesmaid at the WanYee's wedding ( the beach wedding @ Langkawi)

4. To travel with my family (Still figuring where to go)
- We managed to go Kukup for 2D1N.

5. To get a Digital Camera (Must be Canon)
- Yeap, got the Canon camera

6. To sign up graphic design course (Must go with V*)
- Postponing to 2010....
- Year 2010: I registered "Specialist Diploma in Digital Media Creation" @ SP last week and waiting for approval.

7. To build a racing bike
- I have "little Wing" from Cinelli.

8. To train and sign up 42km the Standard Chartered 2009 (Are you ready? Gals!)
- I made it , 10km.

9. To buy a house? (I afraid to be kicked out by my sis)
- Postponing...
- Year 2010: TBA

10. Hope all my friends & families will have wonderful year ahead.

I visited BookFest today, at Suntec City. This is the annual mega book fair of the year, which is having more than 20% discount on all chinese & english books.

Unexpectedly, a taiwanese renowned hair stylist and regular guest on popular beauty TV programme, Nu Ren Wo Zui Da, Lu Xiao Man is sharing her secrets at the BookFest also, promoting her Hair styling book...

She is very experienced and willing to share hair tips with us.

We bought her book at the end :) , & We got her autography also.

I missed SC Marathon last year as my best friend,
was married on the same day, of course, i was one of the bridesmaid.

The event Tee-shirt was given, is blue also.

Somehow, it's matching to my new shoe!

PS: I didnt manage to take photo on the day.
At least , i completed another 10km this year

Wedding @ Casa Del Mar - 21st Nov 2009

This is the first Beach Wedding i attended in my life.

Casa Del Mar - Located at the Chenang Beach.

I & my bf was assigned to a pool-view room.

The bride and groom was praying for the weather.

It has been raining since i touched down Langkawi.

The bride even brought "晴天娃娃" .

Here is the bride, my bf's sister - Abigail Lee.

I'm honoured to become unofficial bridesmaid on that day.

The rains was stopped just 5 mins before wedding ceremonny commences.
The bride & groom made weddinng vows at Langkawi!

Followed by wedding dinner.

Desserts for newly weds!

Overall, it was an unique and memorable wedding,

well-arranged by the project manager @ Casa Del Mar.

I felt sad.

A week ago, my uncle (Father's brother) was hospitalised due to the diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. (These are the common illness among all the senior citizens. It's not a big deal anyway as i thought. I was wrong. In long term, the kidney and liver is unable to function as normal if never control diet properly)

After consultation, The doctor advised that he would only have 2 years to live due to his current condition... Unexpectedly, he passed away one day after discharginng from the hospital.

PS: Cherish the love, Cherish the life.

Thus, i decided to give me a chance and change to a new skin!

Sunflower theme - it is definitely not my favo's flower. (I still prefer tulips - missing Amsterdam). But, this is the only skin that i had found so far.

HPV Vaccination

I'm not the shortest as the rest were wearing heels.

I was here to take the HPV Vaccination (Human Papilloma Virus), which prevention on the HPV infection and Cervical Cancer.

There are more than 30 types of HPV virus transmitted through sexcual contact and infect all cases of Cervical cancer. Today, some women also diagnosed as Cervical Cancer even thought they have no sex before. Thus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has implement series of HPV campaign and encourage the women to take the vaccination.

The study has recommended women between age of 9 and 25 years old to take the vaccination as it can maximize its protection under this age group. If you are older than the above age group, please do the vaccination as soon as possible. it might not be as effective as the above age group, at least, it reduce the risks of cervical cancer.

Two type of HPV vaccines available in Market either Gardasil or Cervarix. Total 3 dose is required to complete the course at 0, 3 and 6 months.

This is the second time i visited NSM.

Surprisingly, i didnt visit Malaysia Msuem before

and yet i had visited singapore museum several times

This is the exhibition that i interested.

Christian Lacroix is the fashion designer specialising in making opera costume.

Then, they provide Dress-Up corner,
which the visitors are given a chance to design / cusotmize the dress.

#1 - The first design - look like indian style

#2 - The second design - look like Malay style

Then, i designed some clothes. It got traditional chinese style and casual style.

It is very bad design.

Then, this is another design from my bf.

erm... Really different from mine.

I messed up this lovely date, because i planned to work from 14th-15th Feb, including my colleagues, my boss, as well as my customer who flew in for internal meeting in KL.

BAD DAY

I always had nightmare on sunday night, which make the Morning Blue worse.
So, it was happened again last night.

& I had SUPER Bad Day today!

#1 - Quarreled with external warehouse in the early 8am

#2 - Someone just throw vulgarities at me @ 8plus, which i had done nothing wrong.

#3 - Just realised i got dozens of work waiting for me @ 9 plus Dept Meeting

#4 - The cabinet (that i had made for exhibition show) was broken into two pieces . Luckily, nobody get injured in the accident. The contractor only can fix it tmr morning.

#5 - The weather was getting worse n i was like "Ganjong spider" to settle the mess (broken cabinets + 3 long cabinets)

#6 - I had no mood to attend the dental appointment and cancelled it at the end. (the dental appt is very difficult to book in Singapore)

#7 - Bought 2 "Pedestal Fan" for the tenant and my family. The KDK fasn were super duper heavy!

#8 - Met the "attitude problem" taxi driver, which try to cheat me. The taxi cost is $5.90. i gave him $7.00. He was still act blur after giving me the change of $0.10. I'M NOT STUPID! THIS IS SIMPLE CALCULATION! of course, i wanted $1.00 back from the taxi driver. "UNCLE! I GAVE YOU $7.00, N YOU SUPPOSE TO GIVE ME BACK $1.10 , not $0.10 only"

#9 - my computer got problem n unable to download the iTunes 8.0 (latest version). You know what! my iPod Nano only can synchronize with iTunes 8.0 version & above.
P.S: i didnt manage to upload any songs / movies to my ipod!

Moral of the story - I hate MONDAY!

There have two areas, which this is intermediate level and smoking area.

The other area is beginner level, which is air-conditioned.

My lecturer had given me a branding case study before, "De Beers", who is the leading brand in selling diamond rings. The diamond is used to be an insignificant stone, which has no money value at all. It is meaningless to all over the world.

The De Beers group had found this serious problem and decided to engage an marketing agency to promote the "diamond", which encourage couples or investor to purchase diamond instead of "Gold, Gems & Etc"...

Thereafter, The diamond is symbolized as the "eternity love" and become the "must-have" stone in all the wedding proposals.

Today, the definition is
Diamond = Precious stone ($$$)
Ring = a thing to tie marriage knot
Diamond Ring = Eternity Love

When i split the "Diamond Ring" into individual word, it lose the meaning of "Eternity Love".

So, when someone is proposing to you without the diamond Ring, is it still represent that your love is eternity?

It would be sad if the guys never propose to you and find excuse of "getting the house first" to marry.

Lolz.. how was the virus appeared in my laptop? My desktop (Extra computer for artwork composing) and even the portable hardisk!!!

N it is appeared in Tew N Joanne's Laptop too. (so glad as i'm not the only victim) :P - (joanne is yelling up and down now when seeing this post)

What the stupid trojan n it contains malay words. it sounds like a indonesia virus as my bf had similar experience before and hacked by indonesia virus until the whole laptop was formatted.

Luckily, this virus has temporarily stopped by "King King". BUT it is yet to solved.

I'm praying very hard so that joanne's portable harddisk n my harddisk are not affected.

"TOMTON" Restaurant @ Central (Clark Quay)

TOMTON is translated as "Black Pig" in Japanese word. And why we were here? Becos this japanese restaurant is highly recommended by the "My Paper" few days ago, featuring their signature dishes "TonKatsu (Port Cutlet)" and "Seafood Jewellery Box".
This "Seafood Jewellery Box" dish, which is only can be eat by pre-booking!

We were actually called in and reserve this dish for the night. It is just a cold dish / appetiser , with only one layer meat, sauce, seaweed & ... It costs about $20++ for a LAYER of appetiser, & it is really worth it.

Then, we actually order a family set, catering for 3 person. it consists as below dishes...

BBQ Cuttle Fish

Pork Cutlet, Fish Cutlet (It is super duper Fresh) , Fried Prawn.

Ton Ton aka Black pig (imported from Japan) for steamboat

Soba?? (Cold Mee??)

Fresh veggies

I cooked the meat, soba and veggie!

Shabu-Shabu (Steamboat)

Dessert: Pear flavor ice-cream

Dessert: Mua Qi

Dessert: Orange Jelly (Top rated dessert- you can even eat the orange meat in the jelly)

Curtin Perth Trip 6-12th July 2008

This is the second last module that i took before getting Degree from Curtin.

Module Name: Marketing Professional Practice (MPP)
This is not compulsory for every student in Curtin. It is optional module whereby student can trade in one module to this module. I had traded in "Retail & Marketing Distribution" module becoz
First Reason - i had taken this module b4
Second Reason - i have to study 10 chapters for the exam
Last Reason - i heard that the lecturer of this module is super duper cannot make it.

Please find the cost breakdown as below.
(1) SIA Air ticket - S$ 890
(2) Module Fee - S$ 1700 (Aus $1310)
(3) Accomodation + Tour fee - S$1500 (Aus$1200)
(4) Expense in Perth - S$700
Total - S$3790

Anyway, your all would think that i'm so rich and can afford to go. No way! i actually borrowed S$3000 from my mum and sister (aka Payung) for this trip :)

Friends from diff work of life
I met frens who work as IT specialist, Sales executive, advertising designer...
They are interesting to chat with due to the diff background and life experience.
& I met the drinkers, jokers, uncles & aunties there.

Especially must thank to the lecturer who design this module and then, i could have the chance to visit Perth (This is my 2nd time to Australia. Haha). And he has cutest daughters that i had seen in my life - Zoe & Jess. Two of them become the celebrities during the tour. We kept taking photo with them and they love to take photo too.

Impression of Perth
Perth can be quite boring place in most of our's perception. I must admit that it is quite bored after 5pm. Luckily, my groupmate aka housemates who is keen enough and cook and drink almost very night. The aboriginal culture and farm' life is opening my eyes. It is super amazing when seeing how a sheep being shaved during Winter! (I pity the sheep who lose the furs during Winter! it was so cold there).

Aboriginal Food
I had tried Kangroo, Crocodile and Emu's meat. It taste like lambs as it got the smell that i had most. I didnt take any photo as i was too hungry.

Shopping
It is still fun as i had almost spent half of my pocket money to the factory outlet shopping mall - The Harbour Town (Sounds like Harbour Front). It is really a "Good Buy! Best buy! & Must Buy!) paradise. All the major brands are having 40%-70% discounts.
