My lecturer had given me a branding case study before, "De Beers", who is the leading brand in selling diamond rings. The diamond is used to be an insignificant stone, which has no money value at all. It is meaningless to all over the world.
The De Beers group had found this serious problem and decided to engage an marketing agency to promote the "diamond", which encourage couples or investor to purchase diamond instead of "Gold, Gems & Etc"...
Thereafter, The diamond is symbolized as the "eternity love" and become the "must-have" stone in all the wedding proposals.
Today, the definition is
Diamond = Precious stone ($$$)
Ring = a thing to tie marriage knot
Diamond Ring = Eternity LoveWhen i split the "Diamond Ring" into individual word, it lose the meaning of "Eternity Love".
So, when someone is proposing to you without the diamond Ring, is it still represent that your love is eternity?
It would be sad if the guys never propose to you and find excuse of "getting the house first" to marry.
* So Gals... what is your reaction when you receive the diamond ring? A sense of happiness or sadness? you found your true love or you are not ready?
